BikeResults.com Announces Thousands of Races Added to Web Site

November 28 , 2001--Williston, VT - BikeResults.com, the worlds largest resource for cycling results, has recently more than doubled the number of races in it's fully drillable database. Hundreds of races have been added to the sections for BMX, Road and Mountain Biking.

Thanks to the BikeResults Officials program and other resources, this huge increase was achieved in just three weeks. Before this significant increase, a majority of the results came from mountain bike races; however, many of these new race results cover BMX and road cycling, thus dramatically increasing the value for a site with an immense community following.

With the constant flow of results into the GlobalReachSports Compute Center, rankings are updated frequently much like they are done in another sports community belonging to the GlobalReachSports portfolio, Charles Schwab's Nastar.com. Current rankings provide a great service and value to competitors in their constant pursuit of improvement, so these comparison tools help them monitor and achieve their objectives.

Geoff Elder, Chief Technology Officer for Global Reach Sports, explains, "BikeResults.com is the only site dedicated to the race results of all cyclists. You don't have to be Lance Armstrong to have a resume. You just have to get out there, go in a race, and chances are we'll have all your results. You can see all your data on one page (your resume), navigate through the data and rankings or use one of the other community based features. The goal has been to create a resource for cyclists, by cyclists. Based on the feedback we receive, we're achieving exactly that."
