Global Reach Sports Continues Grassroots Message Program to Public Schools

Over the years MyRaceResults has operated with a mission of increasing value and appreciation within the sports industry, with the particular emphasis of grassroots development. So, Global Reach Sports took the message of participation to the Williston Central School in Williston, Vermont.

Speaking to groups of eighth-graders, Global Reach Sports president Andy Bishop described the benefits of cycling and sports in general. Bishop, a professional cyclist for thirteen years, remarked, "These kids have a lifetime ahead of them and I hope to share my experiences to help them realize the benefits of exercise and sport. Not with the goal of becoming a professional athlete, but instead with the goal of participation, teamwork, mental and physical challenges, and the rewards that come from those goals."

MyRaceResults will continue this meassage through their normal line of business of building sports communities and they will also spread the message through events such as this.

Various talks have been given in the past to schools, professional organizations such as the American College of Surgeons, corporations such as AOL and Motorola. If interested in hearing more about MyRaceResults, please contact us here.
